Ramming Speed have been hitting the road hard as shit since 2005. Borrowing heavily from d-beat punk’s charging rhythm, classic rock’s twin guitar harmonies, thrash metal’s aggression and grind’s blinding speed, we have have released one cd, four records, and two tapes on six different labels. Touring has covered the entire US many times over, along with 14 other countries, including the UK, Icela…nd, Czech Republic, Germany, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Poland, Austria and more. When we are at home we work as janitors, cleaning piss off the floor of practice space bathrooms. On the road we are kings of the double yellow, driving endless miles to bring metal and punk to house parties, squats, bomb shelters, open air festivals and anywhere else that will take us.
We recently picked up Blake formerly of Bones Brigade and currently of Concussion on guitar, and Ben of Thunder Motherfucker on bass. The new line up feels stronger and more confident then ever. We are primed for the continued financial battering of touring and are nearly finished with the writing process for the second full length, to be recorded this winter.
